Dude in the article is only 27, so his metabolism and overall health are likely pretty good. The crunches, to be honest, are highly overrated, given the fact that activities such as walking, cycling, basketball, and swimming incorporate the same muscles, and place less strain on one’s back.

Truth be told- neither men or women can “spot reduce” (target one area and cut fat there), toning is an overall process. But you should train with weights three times a week, avoid excess beer, try not to smoke, and walk when you can.
